Privacy Policy

The short version
- We never ask for your passwords, account logins, or API keys.
- We use what you send only to do your audit.
- We delete your files within 30 days of delivering your report, or sooner if you ask.
- We never sell or share your data.
- Stripe handles payments, so we never see your card number.
- Our site analytics use no cookies and collect no personal data.
What we collect
- What you email us: your email address, your name if you include it, and the bills, screenshots, invoices, or CSV exports you attach, plus anything you write in your message.
- Payment details from Stripe: when you buy, Stripe tells us your name, email, what you bought, and the amount paid. We do not receive your full card number.
- Anonymous visit counts: see "Analytics" below.
Please blur or remove card numbers, billing addresses, and other personal details before sending files. We only need tool names, plans, and amounts.
How we use it
- To prepare and deliver your audit report.
- To reply to your emails and provide support.
- For Monitor subscribers, to run your monthly re-audits and send reminders.
- To process payments and refunds and keep basic business records.
We may use anonymized, combined pricing trends (for example, "the average Cursor plan costs $X") that cannot identify you.
How long we keep it
Files you send for an audit are deleted within 30 days of your report being delivered. Monitor subscribers may send new files each month, and each set is deleted within 30 days of that month's report. Payment records are kept by Stripe and as needed for tax and accounting purposes.
Deleting your data
You can ask us to delete your files and emails at any time by writing to stacktrim@mail.grokbot.com. We'll confirm once it's done. Records we are required to keep for tax or accounting may be retained.
Payments
Payments are processed by Stripe. Your card details go directly to Stripe and are handled under Stripe's privacy policy. We never see or store your full card number.
Analytics
We use GoatCounter to count page visits. It uses no cookies and does not collect personal data, so we can't identify individual visitors.
Sharing
We never sell your data, and we never share it with advertisers. The only outside services involved are the ones needed to run StackTrim: our email provider (to receive your files), Stripe (payments), Netlify (website hosting), and GoatCounter (visit counts).
Changes
If we change this policy, we'll update this page and the effective date above.
